Our Process
We bridge the distance between resources and the children who need them most. By working closely with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and other local agencies, we ensure that clothing, hygiene kits, and daily essentials are delivered directly to foster families or others in need. We pride ourselves in making sure no child goes without the basics of life.
Make an Immediate Impact
When a child enters foster care, it often happens without warning—and they arrive with very little. At Riddley’s Helping Hands, we step in during those first critical moments to provide essential items so foster families can focus on what matters most: creating a safe, loving environment. Your generosity allows us to respond quickly and meet real, immediate needs.
Ways to Give
Donate Items:
Clothing (New or Gently Used)
- All sizes welcome (infant through teen)
- Seasonally appropriate items preferred
- Clean and in good condition (no stains)
- NEW Undergarments (boys & girls)
- NEW Socks
- Shoes in all sizes
When donating, we kindly ask that all items be in excellent, gently used condition—free of stains, holes, or odors.
We share this with the utmost love and respect, because the children we serve are often stepping into new and unfamiliar environments, leaving behind everything they’ve known. In those moments, even the smallest details matter.
Our heart is to offer not just items, but dignity, comfort, and a reminder that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved. By giving your very best, you help us provide a sense of care and belonging during what can be a very difficult transition.

At this time, monetary donations can be made directly to our organization’s account at Wilson Bank & Trust at any of their Upper Cumberland locations.
For your convenience, we also offer a PayPal option, where you can make either a one-time gift or set up a recurring monthly donation.
